CID Special Operation in Barishal: Content Creator Touhid Afridi Arrested

In a sudden late-night operation, the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) detained popular content creator Touhid Afridi from the Banglabazar area of Barishal. Law enforcement sources confirmed that the arrest was made in connection with an ongoing murder case.

According to case records, a murder case was filed at Jatrabari Police Station in September last year, naming 25 individuals as accused. Touhid Afridi was listed as the 11th accused in the First Information Report (FIR).

Following the arrest, he was transported from Barishal to Dhaka for further legal procedures. Police officials stated that necessary legal steps would be taken as per the case documents.
